Founded in 2000 under its first name “Bulgarian Air Charter”, the company built its reputation operating seasonal programmes from Bulgaria's coastal airports Varna and Burgas, as well as from Sofia and Plovdiv.
2004
The airline expanded steadily, operating diverse aircraft types including the Tupolev Tu-154 and McDonnell Douglas MD-82. At its peak, the combined fleet of MD-82 and Airbus aircraft reached 17 aircraft, serving routes across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and other international destinations.

Airbus aircraft entered our fleet in 2016, aligning operations with one of Europe's most widely operated narrowbody families. Today company's fleet consists exclusively of Airbus A320-type aircraft.
2021
The company's name was rebranded to “European Air Charter” in 2021, strengthening its international market presence and broadening operational scope to reflect two decades of continuous growth and ambition.
Today
Today, our fleet consists exclusively of Airbus A320-type aircraft, with 9 currently in operation and further plans for expansion. In-house maintenance capability ensures high operational standards without dependence on third-party providers.
